DNA Kits & Health Test

What does the DNA Elite Kit test for?

It includes 49 reports and 134 tests for genetic markers tied to nutrition, metabolism, longevity, disease risk, fitness, and more.

How do I collect my DNA sample?

Use the at-home saliva kit and mail it back using the prepaid packaging.

How is my DNA analyzed?

Your sample is processed in a CLIA and CAP-certified lab, and results are reviewed by medical experts.

How do you check my Biological age?

We use a simple blood card.

Is DNA testing safe and accurate?

Yes. We use clinically validated methods to ensure precise results.

How long do results take?

Typically 3–4 weeks from the time your kit is received at the lab.

Will I receive recommendations based on my DNA?

Yes. You’ll get personalized supplement, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance.

Is this the same as ancestry testing?

No. Our DNA kits focus on health and wellness—not heritage.

Can I order more than one DNA kit?

Yes, but each test is tied to one person. Each person should complete their own kit.

Can kids use the DNA test?

Our kits are currently designed for individuals 18 and older.

What happens if I lose my kit instructions?

You can download a replacement from your MyGevity profile or contact support.

Blood Work & Lab Testing

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No. You can order tests directly through MyGevity.

Where do I go for my blood draw?

Your blood draw is done at a Quest Diagnostics location—simply schedule an appointment and have your sample collected by a professional

What does the Advanced Blood Panel cover?

Just to name a few it includes inflammatory markers, metabolic health, hormones, cardiovascular indicators, and nutrient levels.

Are the tests covered by insurance?

No. These are wellness-focused labs offered as a self-pay service. Some HSA/FSA programs cover these labs but we recommend checking with your provider.

Will I receive support interpreting results?

Yes. A medical overview is included, with virtual coaching available for deeper guidance.

How often should I get blood work done?

We recommend every 6–12 months depending on your wellness goals.

Can I fast before the test?

Our tests do not require fasting. Instructions will be provided with your lab order.

How long until results are ready?

Typically 5–7 business days after your lab visit.

Are you supplements physician formulated?

Can I order and take MyGevity supplements without testing first?

Are they third-party tested?

Are the supplements vegan or gluten-free?
